Yes! An Initial Consultation and Behavioral Assessment is required before services can begin. Once your account information is complete, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your consultation. This meeting allows us to learn about your pet’s routine, discuss their specific needs, answer any questions you may have, and help ensure everyone is comfortable before your trip.

Pocket pets come in many shapes and sizes. We have experience caring for guinea pigs, rabbits, and even a bearded dragon. If you have a small companion animal not listed here, please reach out to discuss your pet’s specific care needs.

Each visit is tailored to your pet’s individual needs and may include:

• Fresh food and water
• Feeding hay, pellets, fresh vegetables, or other approved diets
• Habitat or cage spot cleaning
• Monitoring for signs of illness or injury
• Enrichment and interaction, when appropriate
• Socialization and gentle handling for pets accustomed to human interaction

Our goal is to maintain your pet’s normal routine while providing attentive, compassionate care in the comfort of your home.

We understand that leaving your beloved pet can be stressful. While no one can guarantee that unexpected situations will never occur, we can promise that your pet will receive attentive, dedicated care during each scheduled visit. We show up as scheduled, focus solely on your pet’s needs while we’re there, and provide detailed visit reports that may include notes, photos, and videos so you can stay connected and informed throughout your trip.

Pocket pets do not typically receive rabies vaccinations. Instead, we ask that you upload a recent health certificate or veterinary record showing that your pet receives routine veterinary care and has been examined by a veterinarian. Any recommended preventive care or medical treatments should be discussed with your veterinarian, as they are best qualified to determine what is medically appropriate for your pet’s species, age, and health status.
