Kat Roth, owner of Kat and Dogs Ohio, has always had a passion for caring for animals. While in junior and senior high school, Kat spent many hours a week volunteering at the Knox County Humane Society. She attended Columbus State Community College and graduated with her associates degree as a veterinarian technician.
In the fall of 2013, she opened Kat and Dogs Ohio (KADO), and has been a professional pet sitter and dog walker ever since. Kat is insured/bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas (BIC), trained in Pet First Aid/CPR through PetTech. and is a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI). She continues to to soak up knowledge by attending Continuing Education (CE) classes at the annual Midwest Veterinary Conference and taking part in educational opportunities offered by PSI. During the coronavirus pandemic, Kat completed her COVID19 Safety Certification course and earned her Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) designation through PSI!
When Kat isn't caring for your pets, you can find her at local events such as the Heart of Willoughby Outdoor Market and craft shows. Kat and her husband share their home with three dogs and four cats in Willoughby, Ohio!
