Weekday Dog Walks And Visits

Every dog—and every dog parent—has unique needs and expectations when it comes to care. At Kat and Dogs Ohio, we offer personalized midday dog walks and visits, Monday through Friday, designed to give your pup exercise, enrichment, and companionship while giving you peace of mind.

Each visit typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs and your scheduling preferences. This time reflects the total length of the visit, which includes getting your pup ready, leashing up, the walk itself, and settling back in comfortably afterward.

Visit Options

We offer three visit types to best fit your needs and your dogs’ routines:

• Standard Visit – Starts at $30.00 per visit (about 30 minutes of care and interaction)

• Extended Visit – Starts at $40.00 per visit (around 45 minutes for extra social time and a longer walk)

• Deluxe Visit – Starts at $50.00 per visit (up to 60 minutes for more outside time, enrichment, and more)

Each walk is tailored with your dog’s safety and comfort in mind. We allow your dog some say in how our time together goes—after all, it’s their walk, and we’re just happy to tag along! That might mean a brisk stroll, a little sniffari around the block, or a relaxed loop through the neighborhood. If you have more than one dog, up to two dogs from the same household may be walked together—if it’s safe and comfortable for everyone involved. We’ll always assess their walking compatibility to ensure each outing remains positive and stress-free.

While we’re happy to work with most breeds and personalities, we do have some safety-based limitations. We’re unable to care for dogs who pull excessively, display aggression, or react by barking or lunging at other dogs, people, or wildlife. If you and your dog are currently working with a trainer, we may be able to coordinate care that aligns with your training plan.

As a Fear Free Certified Professional Pet Sitter, we prioritize your dog’s emotional well-being. That means we don’t use aversive tools or equipment—such as electronic fencing systems, shock, pinch/prong collars, or retractable leashes—as they can increase fear, anxiety, or stress. We’re happy to use your dog’s familiar gear as long as it meets our safety and comfort standards; if not, we’ll provide our own leash, harness, and collar. Please ensure your pup is wearing proper identification for every walk.

Northeast Ohio weather can be unpredictable! During extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather, outdoor walks may be shortened to keep your dog safe. The remaining time will be spent indoors where we can focus on light enrichment activities—like basic training exercises, play, or simply offering a little extra TLC and snuggle time on the couch.

Our weekday walking services are ideal for busy professionals, parents balancing full schedules, or anyone recovering from surgery who needs a helping hand (and leash). Each visit includes GPS tracking for your peace of mind, and you’ll receive an update after every walk with a brief summary—and, when possible, a cute photo to brighten your day.
