At Fear Free, their mission is "to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS) in pets by inspiring and educating the people who care for them". This can be accomplished by using positive reinforcement through desensitization techniques using treats, relaxing music, species specific pheromones, and/or prescription anxiety medication. Our goal is to create a positive and safe experience for your entire family. As a Fear Free Certified Pet Sitter and dog walker, Kat is committed to incorporating these techniques when caring for your pets.
In partnership with Fear Free, Fear Free Happy Homes offers pet parents educational resources to help their pets live their best life. Topics range from canine and feline body language to separation anxiety, enrichment, and pet behavioral changes.
